Carol Clancy Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Carol Clancy of Fairfield, Connecticut. Carol, born on December 14, 1959, passed away on August 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bennett and Jane Bennett; her former husband Terry (Terry) of Vincent's Hospital; and her brothers, William Bennett and James Bennett.
She is survived by: her husband Fairfield; her children, John Clancy (Claire), Emma Carter (Daniel), Coleman Clancy (Kate) and Anne Clancy; her grandchildren, Patrick Clancy, Eliza Carter, Zoe Clancy and Rory Clancy; and her siblings, Susan Baker, Julie Bennett, Barbara Sanderson and Thomas Bennett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home (50 Reef Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (834 Brookside Dr, Fairfield, CT 06824).
