Claire Fray Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claire Fray (Fairfield, Connecticut), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Philip Fray; her parents, Barron Fredricks and Cathleen Fredricks (Beattie); and her siblings, Barron, William and Judy Santos.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott of Pawtucket, RI, Chris (Chip) of Fairfield, CT and Brendon (Amy) of Monroe, CT.; her grandchildren, Connor (Sydney), Devon and Erynn; her great grandchildren, Theo and James; her stepgrandchildren, Libby (Sam) and Will; and her friend Joyce Flynn. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Burr Mansion (739 Old Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
