He was predeceased by: his parents, Bette Middlemass Smith and Hobart Lyford Smith of Fairfield, CT.; and his brother Jock Smith. He is survived by: his children, Craig Smith (Christina), Erik Smith and Marisa Smith; his grandsons, Nathan Smith and Jack Smith; and his sisters, Cheryl Hall (Peter) and Lynn Kinsman.
