He was predeceased by : his parents, Joy Charles Adams and Helen Francis Adams (Seydler). He is survived by : his wife Dorothy L. Adams (MacNeil); his grandchildren, David L. Adams Sr. (Fiorella), Logan, Deborah L. Adams and James Magson of North Haven; and his children, Abigail, James and Hannah.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Research Foundation (https://donatenow.networkforgood.org) or to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Fairfield.
