“I'm very sad to learn of the passing of my long ago History teacher, Ed Mitola, . I studied with him at McKinley in 8th grade back in 1962-63. He had a great sense of humor and made his class most enjoyable. .I'd have to say that he was truly my favorite teacher. My Dad met him on Parents' Night and hit it off with him and there was an ongoing give and take between them. Please accept my sincere condolences. If I wasn't so far away in the Chicago area would certainly come to the service.”
