He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eckert and Elizabeth Eckert (Heithmar); his former wife Martha Sue Eckert (Wharton); and his brother Walter. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Eckert (Lynn), William Eckert (Jayne), Lee Eckert (Suz), Beth Eckert and Evie Angel (Jon); his grandchildren, Chloe, Zachary, Ryan, Cooper, Campbell, Abbie, Lainie, Will and Nate; his siblings, Helen Kascin and Robert Eckert (Mary); and his siblings' children, Robert, Jean, Kevin, Karen, Brian, Sue and John.
