He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Adzima and Helen Wasco Adzima; and his siblings, Richard and Alix Semanchik. He is survived by: his wife Carole Breen Adzima; his children, Greg (Ellen) of High Point, NC and Andrea (Rob) of Stratford, CT.; his grandsons, Alexander (Butler) of Charleston, SC, Austin (Olivia) of Summerfield, NC and Jackson Buchanan of Stratford, CT; his great grandchildren, Everett and Owen; his siblings-in-law, Eleanor Adzima and Don Semanchik; and his caregiver Carolene Davis. He is also survived by five loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. John's Cemetery (2610 Nichols Ave, Stratford, CT 06614).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The St. John's Scholarship Fund, The Perry House Foundation or The Sterling Community Center.
