With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gene Nemergut of Fairfield, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Stella Nemergut; and his siblings, Frank Nemergut and Patricia Bucki. He is survived by: his nieces, Sharon Fitzpatrick (James) and Suzanne Dalfino (James) of Shelton; and his brother-in-law Peter Bucki.
