He was predeceased by: his mother Vasiliki Diamandopoulos Dimopoulos. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Vasilia (George Kaouris), Christine (Dave Iori) and Peter Dimopoulos (Nicole); and his grandchildren, Peter and Maria.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in George's memory.
