He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John D. Herrington Jr. and Gertrude Herlinger Herrington; and his brother John D. Herrington III. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Chabek; his sons, Ryan (Lisa) and John (Jeanette); his sisters, Ann Dwyer and Elizabeth McNamara; and his sister-in-law Phoebe Herrington. He is also survived by three nieces and three nephews.
