She was predeceased by: her husband John S. Allerton; her parents, Johannes Wikse and Sigrid Wikse; her son Barry W. Allerton; and her brother O. John Wikse.

She is survived by: her children, Richard J. Allerton (Nancy Nadolny Gargano) of Clinton and Wendy A. Moran (John) of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Timothy J. Moran and Jennifer A. Moran; and her siblings, Sigi Bray of Greenwich and Carl Wikse of Maryland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
