With sadness, we share the passing of Joan Isabelle Smith Crossman (Fairfield, Connecticut). Joan, born on August 31, 1932, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E Crossman, Sr.; and her parents, Winnie Smith and Bob Smith. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Robert E. Crossman, Jr. (Deborah Molnar Crossman) of Shelton, Gail Dickinson and Debora Crossman Smith (Kenneth) of Ansonia; her cousins, Kenneth Gray, Stewart Dunn, Sandra, Lori, Pat and Linda; Wayne Crossman (Lucy). She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Larson Funeral Home (1209 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Bridgeport Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary Board.
