She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Leja and Margaret Leja (Smolko); her husband Joseph M. Monaco; her siblings, Mary Ann Menillo and Raymond Leja; Joseph Savo and Joseph M. Monaco.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Savo Monaco (Denise) of Westport; her granddaughter Alexandra Monaco (Pablo Vega-Behar) of New York City; her friend Martha D'Agostino; and her stepchildren, Mark Monaco and Joann Monaco Quaranta.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
