With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Shea of Fairfield, Connecticut, who passed away on June 5, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Shea, Sr. and June Shea (Fleming) of Queens, NY.. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Shea (Gordon); his children, John Shea (Laura) of Fairfield, CT, Jennifer Sherriff (Andrew) of Fairfield, CT, Jeanne Galvin (Michael) of Fairfield, CT and James Shea (Kiley) of Fairfield, CT; his grandchildren, Jack, Connor, Reilly, Kieran, Aidan, Paddy, Mickey, Tommy, Johnny, Gracie, Marin, Cian, Finn and Brigh; and his siblings, Patricia Duffy, Jean Toner (Bill), Kathy Conner, Michael Shea (Phyllis), Billy Shea (Laura), Mary Shea and Jimmy Shea. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The Wounded Warrior Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“Dear Jean & family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Jack. When I met Jack and got to know Jack I found a good man, honorable man with a heart of gold. Jack was always there for me when I worked with him, and he let me know he was there if I ever needed him. Even after leaving the mall we stayed in touch . He will be greatly missed.
