Joseph R. Dondero Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph R. Dondero of Fairfield, Connecticut, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph R. Dondero to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dondero and Mamie Dondero. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cordone Dondero; his children, Maria Shapiro (Randy), Dawn Dondero (Savas Synodi) and James Dondero; his grandchildren, Zachary and Julia Shapiro; and his sisters-in-law, Lucille DelMonaco and Regina Shapiro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (700 Old Stratfield Rd, Fairfield, CT 06825).
