She was predeceased by: her parents, John Amaro and Angelina Amaro (Bono); her husband Victor Grasso; and her brothers, Jacob Amaro of Monroe, NC and Joseph Amaro of Seymour, CT..
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Grasso of Stratford, Debora Pappolla (Jacob) of Fairfield and Angela Kaczegowicz (Alan) of Trumbull; her grandchildren, Francine, Victor Pappolla, Nicholas, Brian Grasso, Valerie and Alan Kaczegowicz; her great grandchildren, Cecelia and Anthony Grasso; her brother Robert; and her sisters-in-law, Lynne Amaro of Beacon Falls and Betty Amaro of Wrenthem, MA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you consider contributions directed in her memory to Jewish Senior Services, 4200 Park Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06604 All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield, CT, Friday October 28 at 9:30 am.
