She was predeceased by: her husband Earl M. DeWitt; and her parents, Dr. John Peelen and Daisy Peelen. She is survived by: her children, Jane DeWitt of Fairfield and John DeWitt (Karen) of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Brianna Boreen (Steven), Tyler DeWitt and Lauren DeWitt; and her sisters, Joan Ritsema (Ray) of Cary, NC and Julie Peelen of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
