Though Leslie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leslie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Byelas and Anna Sokolsky. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Lubell; his son Michael; his stepdaughter Karina Lubell; his sister Ruth Byelas; his siblings-in-law, Amy Bloom and Bill Mainor; his grandchildren, Tristan Mareuil and Axel Mareuil; and his great grandchild Jonathan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
