Mary Warecke Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Warecke of Fairfield, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on January 27, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Carotenuto; her husband Vladimer Warecke (Val); and her siblings, Frank Carotenuto, Dominic Carotenuto, Pat Carotenuto, Carmen Carotenuto, Josephine Ambrose, Ann Federico and Lily Sharkey.

She is survived by: her children, Frank Warecke, Sr. (Lynn) of Sebastian, FL and Hilda Layok (John) of Durham, NC.; her grandchildren, Frank Warecke, Jr. (Siobhan Darcy) of Seymour, CT, Michael Warecke (Kimberly) of Old Lyme, CT, Sean Warecke (Maureen) of Penrose, NC, Emily Bleau (Joshua) of Durham, NC, Gregory Layok (Kimberly) of Chicago, IL, Rachel Chiappa of Seymour, CT and Jason Chiappa of Norman, OK.; and her great grandchildren, Jordan Warecke, Riley Warecke, Samantha Kowal Warecke, Lily Warecke and Mila Rose Layok. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
