He was predeceased by: his parents, Azar Azarian and Victoria Azarian. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Rustigian; his son Gary Azarian (Jacqueline); and his grandsons, Gary Azarian Jr. and Bryan Azarian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension (ACHA), 1460 Huntington Turnpike, Trumbull, CT 06611.
