He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Frank; his wife Betty Mae (Lanute); his children, Philip F. Corso, Jr. (Vickie) of Columbus, OH and Christina (Philip Furmato); his stepgrandsons, Frank, Jonathan of Blue Bell, PA and Christopher (Angela); his grandson Luca Philip of Phoenix, AZ.; and his brother Joe (Lily).
In 1959, he accepted a two-year appointment as a Senior American Cancer Society Fellow at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York City.
