We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2025, Piroska Mencseli of Fairfield, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Laszlo Mencseli; her parents, Istvan Holecz and Jolan Holecz; her sister Ilona Gaal; and her daughter-in-law Martha Mencseli.
She is survived by: her son Miklos Mencseli of Cheshire; her grandchildren, Justin of Wallingford and Becky of Colorado; and her sisters, Elizabeth Henn and Jolan Henn of Monroe, CT..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lesko Funeral Home (1209 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Emery Church (838 Kings Hwy E, Fairfield, CT 06825). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (1530 Bronson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
