He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio DaSilva and Lena DaSilva (Mello); his wife Carol Jean; his son Ricardo Joseph, Jr.; and his grandson Ricardo Joseph, III.
He is survived by: his close friend Scott; his son Joe; his sister Rosie; his daughter Melissa; his son-in-law Daniel; his granddaughters, Haleigh, Lindsay, Carli J and Jacie; his siblings, Rina, Rose and Charlie; and his pet Baxter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Ricardo's name to Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer's (https://act.alz.org).
