Richard S. Cellar Obituary
We announce the death of Richard S. Cellar of Fairfield, Connecticut, who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 89. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Prep (Marion Cellar) and Fairfield Prep; his sister Joan Morgan; and his grandson Stephen Pease. He is survived by: his girlfriend Connie Lehaney (Brewster) of Fairfield; and his children, Richard S. Cellar II of Fairfield, Robert S. Cellar of Trumbull, Ruth H. Salce of Norwalk, CT and Rebecca Lanier (Joseph) of Oxford. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
