He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wittekind and Marie McAllister Wittekind; and his siblings, Eugene Wittekind and Gloria Suk. He is survived by: his wife Sue Carroll Wittekind; his daughters, Jennifer Garran (Peter) of Boston, MA and Heather Mahland (Erik) of New York City; and his grandchildren, Peter, Gloria Garran, Grace and Margaux Mahland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
