He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Philip Friend and Pauline Friend; his wife Barbara; his sons, David (Susan) and Paul (Marcia); his grandsons, Michael (Brittany), Daniel and William; his brothers, Leonard and Martin; and his caregiver Gus Lartey.
