It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Elie of Fairfield, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouses, Francis Fanelli and Jack Elie; her parents, Pellegrino Zerella and Assunta Zerella; and her siblings, Fay, Rocco and Angelo.
She is survived by: her children, Francine Jacques (Murray) of Fairfield and Joseph Fanelli (Christine) of Hobe Sound, FL; her grandchildren, Jennifer Siegert (Bradley) of Bronxville, NY, Andrew Jacques (Alexa) of St. Louis, MO, Joseph Fanelli, Jr. and Marissa Fanelli of Durham, NC; and her great grandchildren, Blaire and Chloe Siegert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may consider a donation in Vickie's memory be made to Bigelow Center for Senior Activities, Lifelong Learners Program.
