She was predeceased by : her parents, James Metsopulos and Olga Metsopulos (Theodore); her husband Chris Brous; and her brother George Metsopulos (Stella). She is survived by : her children, Dorothy Paleologos and James Brous (Mary Scherer); her granddaughters, Valerie Brous (Michael Peppler) and Maria Paleologos Green (Larry); her great grandchildren, Calvert, Benjamin, Anna Green and Zeke Peppler; and her siblings, Ann Pavlakis (George), June Petrides (Thracy) and Gus Metro.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 6:15 PM at the Dillon Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral (433 Fairfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the St. Mary/Putnam Cemetery (35 Parsonage Rd, Greenwich, CT 06830).

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Ladies Philoptochos Society, a charity organization dedicated to helping the needy, in honor of the deceased.
