He was predeceased by : his parents, Carmelo Longo and Maria Longo (Castrogiovanni); and his sister Maria Longo. He is survived by : his wife Rosa Longo (Bruno); his children, Maria Longo Haynes (Erik) of Bristol and Carmelo Longo (Brianna) of Burlington; his brothers, Salvatore Longo of Switzerland and Giuseppe Longo of Italy; his grandchildren, Gavin, Maverik, Alessandra, Gabriel and Giuliana; his stepchildren, Enzo (Dionna), Frank (Carla) and Adam; his stepgrandchildren, Anthony, Christina, Angelina and Vincenzo; and his pet Rocky.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home (411 S Main St, New Britain, CT 06051). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at the St. Mary Cemetery (1309 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
