She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Niederer and Albina Niederer of New Britain, CT.; her sister Mary Jo Fuoco (Pat Fuoco); and her sister-in-law Irene Dasenbrock (Art Dasenbrock). She is survived by : her children, Sharon Leland, Allison Perry (Dave Perry) and Chris Bartnik; her husband Dennis Bartnik; her grandchildren, Austin, Mason Leland, Maddy, Tyson Perry and Eleanor Calaya Jane; her brother Leo Niederer; and her sister-in-law Kay Niedere.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude, an organization Leona felt strongly about.
