It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Kozikowski of Farmington, Connecticut, born in Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwik Bedus-Kozikowski and Anna Bedus-Kozikowski; his wives, Elizabeth Peck (Bette) and Virginia Royal; and his siblings, John, Frank, Bernard and Florence.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Smiekel of Tampa, FL and Carol Miller (Rick Miller) of Pikeville, TN; his granddaughters, Shirley Fortenbaugh (Ryan) and Holly Smiekel-Hoff (Chris); his great grandchildren, Helenka Chodakiewicz, Ellie Fortenbaugh and Indigo Smiekel-Hoff; and his close friend Evelyn Olson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
