With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Shaw of Gales Ferry, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Shaw; and her sisters, Elaine Fitzgerald and Marguerite Brown. She is survived by: her children, Russell (Carrie) and Donna (Chris); her grandchildren, Dawn (Jah), Tonya Ryan (Jeremy) and Troy (Will); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jocelyn; and her siblings, Charles Hayes, Marjorie Howe and Robert Hayes. She is also survived by Mema had a special bond to her grandchildren and great grand-daughters.
