It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of May S Dale of Gales Ferry, Connecticut, born in Dudley, West Midlands, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Victor Skilbeck and Winifred Parkes Skilbeck; her husband Billy Dale; her caregivers, Elisha and Yanick; and her siblings, Janet Shaw, Barbara Lewis, Patricia Ellerton (Robert) and David Skilbeck (Cecelia).
She was so happy to be able to enjoy their company during a recent visit, after not being able to see them during the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in May's honor to the Ledyard Libraries, 718 Colonel Ledyard Highway, or to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111, for use in its local (Waterford) facility.
