She is survived by: her parents, Karl Xirinachs and Mary Xirinachs (Ring) of Waterford; her husband Josh Gillette; her children, Audrey Gillette and Xavier Gillette of Gales Ferry; her stepsons, Elijah Litton of Natick and Ethan Litton of Griswold; her sister Jessica Goins (Josh Goins) of Waterford; her nieces, Kayla and Melissa; and her nephew Mason. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Brain Tumor Association in Melissa's memory.
