He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleophas Guimont and Lillian Guimont (Belaveu); and his siblings, Gerald Guimont, Jacqueline Spann and Janet Gondek.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Guimont (Cayer); his children, David Guimont (Diane), Steven Guimont of Winsted, Paul Guimont (Robyn) of Glastonbury and Laura Miller (Tony) of Wethersfield; and his grandchildren, Eric, Melanie, Edward, Kathryn Guimont and Nicholas Miller.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mulryan Funeral Home (725 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury, CT 06033).
