He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara (Gondek); his mother Anna Kancler (Lankrage); his son Edward Kancler; and his sisters, Lillian Rouse and Felicia Castellani.
He is survived by: his father Peter Kancler; his sons, Thomas (Susan) of Columbia, CT and Bruce of Jensen Beach, FL; his daughter-in-law Pamela of Marlborough, CT; his grandchildren, Danny Kancler (Christina) of Boulder, CO, Ashley Kancler of Watertown, MA, Julie Fuller of Colorado Springs, CO, Katherine Kaczmarek (Joey) of Mims, FL, Jennifer Kancler Isaacson (Dana) of Swampscott, MA and Robert Kancler of Oyster Bay, NY.; and his great grandchildren, Spencer, Mayli Fuller, Dominic, Devin Kaczmarek, Sloane and Grey Isaacson.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ss Isidore and Maria Parish in St Augustine Church (55 Hopewell Rd, South Glastonbury, CT 06073). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the St. Augustine Cemetery (180 Hopewell Rd, South Glastonbury, CT 06073).
