He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastiano Vernali and Vincenza Vernali (Latina); and his brother Salvatore Vernali of Glastonbury. He is survived by: his wife Tina (Pappalardo); his children, Enza Vernali of Rutherford, NJ, Pamela Guarderas of Park Ridge, NJ and Sebastian Vernali of Glastonbury; his granddaughters, Sophie and Olivia Guarderas; and his sister Angela DiTomasso of Farmington. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel (277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A prayer will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (453 Fairfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114).
