Martha G. Hull Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 10, 2026, at the age of 93, Martha G. Hull in Glastonbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Pierce J. Hull; her parents, Mary Holbrook Griswold and Stanley W. Griswold; her daughters, Kathleen Flynn Gleeson, Margaret Louise Flynn and Erin Martha Flynn; her granddaughter Breanna Joy Hayes; and her siblings, Fred Griswold, Louise Griswold Fairbanks and Marjorie Griswold McCarthy.

She is survived by: her children, Maureen Hayes-Smith (late Joseph) of Southington, CT, Eileen Flynn Hawkins (Craig) of Yarmouth, ME and Bernard M. Flynn of Bristol, CT; her stepchildren, David Hull (Andrea) of Deep River, CT, Peggie Hull Sypher (Richie) of Deep River, CT, Diane Hull Foss of Paige, TX, Jeffrey Hull (Mary Kay) of Lakeworth, FL and Shelley Hull Braza (Kevin) of Westbrook, CT; her grandchildren, Patrick J. Hayes III of Torrington, CT, Jared Hayes (Masters) of Hampton, NH, Matthew Hawkins of Boston, MA and Meredith Hawkins of New York City; her great grandchildren, Jessica Masters and Kailey Masters of Moscow, ID; and her nieces, Sharyn Murphy of Southington, CT, Sandra Griswold Lunn of Deep River, CT, Virginia Griswold Hunting of Marion, CT and Allyson Stannard Jackson of Old Saybrook, CT.. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Martha's memory may be made to the Therapeutic Recreation Department at the Summit of Plantsville to support music and recreational events that were so enjoyed by Martha. Memorial donations may be made directly payable to: "The Summit at Plantsville, c/o Barbara Blau".
