She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton W. Hayes and Valna Hayes (Lover); her husband Richard; and her siblings, Lyman and Carolyn Bassage.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia White (Jeffrey) of Derry, NH, Katherine Mucha (Robert) of Marlborough, CT, Susan Estelle (Joel) of Windsor, CT, Peter Kelley (Lisa) of Indianapolis, IN and Janet Lawrence (Gregory) of Pennington, NJ; her sister Nancy Volpe of Rochester, NH; and her daughter Shanda Dunn-Justice of Fayetteville, NC.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulryan Funeral Home (725 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury, CT 06033). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Glastonbury Community Church (113 Stancliff Rd, Glastonbury, CT 06033). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Glastonbury Community Church, 113 Stancliff Road, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
