He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Witherell and Mary Witherell (Ray); his children-in-law, Christopher Hetrick, John Romano and Donna Witherell; and his granddaughter Nicole Witherell.
He is survived by: his close friends, Lucy Read and Maureen Witherell; and his children, Colleen Hetrick (Tony Pisapia), Jennifer Romano, Tim (Jane) and Danny (Joan). He is also survived by many cousins from Maine, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
