He is survived by: his wife Claire Messenger; his children, Jayne Talbot of Westfield, MA, David Messenger, Jr. of Westfield, MA and Jenifer Pinos (Adrian) of Granby, CT.; his grandchildren, Andrew Talbot, Brianna Lamb, Adrian Pinos and Ava Pinos; his brother Harry Messenger, Jr. (Carol) of Southwick, MA.; and his stepchildren, Kenneth Stanhope, Gloria Nelson, Denise, Dennis and Bob Blackburn.
