He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. West, Sr. and Marjorie Mary West (Madden); his son Michael Paul West; and his son-in-law William Jeffrey Julian. He is survived by: his wife Pat West; his children, Russell (Marissa Shaw), Barbara Stanley of Windsor Locks, CT, Robert (Debbie West), Janice Julian of Newport, TN, Trina Elson-West of Stuart, FL, John (Connie West) and Lori (Darren Mudge); his grandchildren, Melissa (Jeff), Alex (Matt), Angela (Tay), Ryan, Nicholas, Jesse, John, Belynda, Jamie (Jay), Chris, Heather (John), Tiffany, Danielle (Mitchell), Patrick (Ashley), Todd, Wesley, Dale (Jenny), Andy, Austin (Kate), Taylor (Scott), Bree (Sean), Bailey, Paige, Michael, Justin, Sydney, Amiyah, Avery, Silas, Jason, Skylar, Vinny, Lilly, Layla, Charlotte, Hadley, Haleigh, Wyatt, Gabriel, Heaven, Christopher, Xander, Belle, Ashton, Trey, Orion, Griffin, Wynn, Devin, Oliver and Emma; and his caregivers, Annmarie, Stefanie, Jasmine, Gloria, Alberta and Aide. He is also survived by child he was proud of his family and considered his large family.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Granby Cemetery North Granby (6 N Granby Rd, Granby, CT 06035).
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to either Wounded Warriors or Tunnels to Towers.
