He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Neumann-Hernsdorf. He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Whitmore Jury; his children, Dale Hernsdorf (David Ramus), Bryce Hernsdorf (Lisa Totz) and Kelly Hernsdorf (Kerry O'Dea); his grandchildren, Noah, Annie Saperstein, Alex, Cooper, Ellie Hernsdorf, Ronan and Avacyn Hernsdorf-Smith; his stepchildren, Chip Neumann (Mireille), Jennifer Pizzanello (Dan), Kurt Neumann (Beverly) and Mark Neumann (Karen); and his stepgrandchildren, Nicolette, Oliver Neumann, Sarah Pizzanello, Carly and Amy Neumann.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home (364 Salmon Brook St, Granby, CT 06035). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the South Congregational Church (242 Salmon Brook St, Granby, CT 06035). A reception will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Granby Community Fund in Roger's memory.
