In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Reis and Catherine Sargeant Reis. She is survived by: her children, Henry (Rochelle), Leslie Lombardi (Nick) and Christine Hardy (Sean); and her sister Kathleen Hennessey. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Castiglione Funeral Home (544 Old Post Rd 3, Greenwich, CT 06830). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations please be made to the animal rescue group of your choice.
