She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Alexander of Glasgow, Scotland.; her daughters, Catherine Stoltenhoff (Bruce) and Audrey DeCrescenzo (Michael); her grandchildren, Alexandra Solomon (Justin), Erich Stoltenhoff (Tiffany), Mike DeCrescenzo and Victoria DeCrescenzo; and her great grandchildren, Madison and Hannah Solomon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to St Judes Children's Hospital.
