She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dunn and Lillian Dunn (Robbins); her husband William H. Dawson; and her siblings, Virginia Griffin (Dunn) and William Dunn.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Robertucci (Fred) of Orlando and Mark W. Dawson (Konnie) of Southbury; her granddaughters, Stacy Robertucci of Orlando, Courtney Dawson of New York and Taylor Dawson of Southbury; and her great grandchildren, Isabella and Madison Alexander. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
