We are sad to announce that, on April 4, 2026, at the age of 92, Sylvia A. Gordon of Greenwich, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frieda Shapiro and Irving Shapiro; her husband Bruce Gordon; her brother Jerry Shapiro; and her sister-in-law Joanne.
She is survived by: her children, Steven of Greenwich, Michael (Carol) of Guilford, Conn., Barry (Pam) of West Hartford and Anne Gordon of Libertyville, Ill; her grandchildren, Sarah (Eric Mandell), David, Matthew (Margi Bhatt), Emily (Joshua Ephraim), Zachary (Sara Franke), Jacob, Rebecca (Anthony Gchachu), Jared, Jeffrey, Jayson and Ellie; and her great grandchildren, Charles, Rishi, Benjamin, Sophia, Caleb and Annarose.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greenwich Lions Club, Jewish Family Services and Temple Sholom.
