It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Rice (Grosvenordale, Connecticut), born in Putnam, Connecticut, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Rice; and her brothers, Richard and Lucien LaPalme. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Barnes (David) of Mesa, AZ and Dean Rice (Jade) of Phoenix, AZ; her sisters, Loretta Joly of Putnam, CT and Cecile Favreau (Steven) of Zion Crossroads, VA; and her grandchildren, Isaiah, Lydeeya and Evalyn. She is also survived by niece and several nephews.
