With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Berta Wilhelmina Cadorette of Groton, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich Bauer and Wilhelmina Bauer (Oberfrank); her husband Sherwood Cadorette; and her siblings, Heinz Bauer, Franzi Köhnlein, Erika Hermann and Klaus Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, Claus Cadorette (Deniz) of Istanbul, Monika Cadorette, Heinz Cadorette and Margo Cadorette of Groton.
As an avid knitter, Berta especially enjoyed knitting and donating sweaters to those in need as part of an annual church event.
