Catherine A. (Ackley) Hespeler Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 4, 2022, at the age of 91, Catherine A. (Ackley) Hespeler (Groton, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Ackley Sr. and Alice Ackley; her daughter Dina Umrysz; her brother Jack; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ackley, Alan Lamb, Guenther "Herb" and Anne Hespeler.

She is survived by: her husband Ted; her siblings, Beverly (David Cook), Marion Lamb, Cal (Dawn Ackley) and Susan (Richard Schmidtknect); her son Ted Jr. (Maryellen); her grandchildren, Ted III and Cara; her children, Daniel, Katy, Michael, James, Erin, Tawnie, Bryce Carlson and Stephen; her grandson Steven; her son Rich (Geri); her grandchildren, Katie, Jason Quinlan, Genevieve-Ashley Spitale, Susan, Robbie Isif and Jay; her sons, Lucas and John (Luanne); her grandchildren, Tyler and Hope; her daughters, Jessica and Chloe; her son-in-law Lee Umrysz; her grandson Tom; her child Pantea Umrysz; and her great grandchildren, Peyton Quinlan, Pyper Quinlan, Theo IV Hespeler, Marley Isif, Paisley Quinlan, Alahnna Hespeler, Grace Allard, Zachary Hespeler, Patrick Hespeler, Harper Allard, Sawyer Hespeler, Ariya Umrysz, Ruby Hespeler, Jackson Umrysz and Lennon Hespeler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
